b. Wels (Upper Austria), May 31, 1931, architect. Studied at the 
University of Technology in Vienna. 1950-1954 worked at the studio of 
R.  Rainer, 1956-1978 cooperation with G. Wawrik. From 1973 chairman 
of the Austrian Society of Architecture; 1978-1994 professor of 
building construction at the University of Technology in Vienna.

Vienna: Widtmann building, 1966-1968; Grothusen office 
building, 1970-1972; Brezina building, 1979-1981; Renovation of the 
Zuerich-Kosmos building, 1980-1986. - Lower Austria: Markart building, 
Perchtoldsdorf, 1960-1962; "Goldtruhe" housing estate, Brunn am 
Gebirge, 1969; Antikenmuseum Carnuntinum, 1988-1991. - Burgenland: 
provincial museum in Eisenstadt, 1976. - Upper Austria: agricultural 
school and gymnasium at Lambach monastery, 1972-1982.
