Rabensburg, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Mistelbach, 
alt. 167 m, pop. 1,140, area 20.08 km%%sup 2/%, near the 
confluence of the rivers Thaya and March, in the north-eastern part of 
the Weinviertel Region. - Wood processing. - Parish church in late 
Baroque style (1756-1765), castle (originally in Romanesque style, 
seat of the Kuenring family (around 1230), altered after 1520 and 
1633). Three grave mounds, finds dating back to the Hallstatt period, 
elaborately decorated ceramic vessels and vessels in the shape of 
bulls.
