Rabl, Karl, b. Wels (Upper Austria), May 2, 1853, d. Leipzig 
(Germany), Dec. 24, 1917, anatomist. Professor at the Universities of 
Vienna, Prague and Leipzig; discovered the constant number of 
chromosomes during the development of the ovum.
