Radmer, Styria, municipality in the district of Leoben, alt.
729 m, pop. 903, area 82.41 km%%sup 2/%, situated in the
valley between the Eisenerz Alps and Ennstal Alps, at the eastern foot
of Lugauer Mountain (alt. 2,219 m); cadastral districts Radmer
an der Stube (alt. 729 m) and Radmer an der Hasel
(alt. 898 m). - Metal processing; iron ore mining on Lugauer
mountain, closed down in 1978/79. - Pilgrimage church in Baroque style
(1600-1603) decorated with elaborate stucco work (around 1720/1730),
columned high altar (1727) decorated with statues, imperial hunting
lodge (1870/71), Greifenberg Castle (around 1600).
