Radon, Johann, b. Děčín, Czech Republic (then 
Tetschen), Dec. 16, 1887, d. Vienna, May 25, 1956, mathematician. 
1912-1919 at the School of Technology in Vienna, then university 
professor in Germany, 1945-1947 in Innsbruck, then in Vienna; worked 
on set functions, variation calculations and differential geometry. 
Published the monthly publication "Monatshefte fuer Mathematik".
