Rainer, Christian, b. Gmunden (Upper Austria), Dec. 13, 
1961, journalist. Studied law and economics in Vienna. 1987-1990 
employed by the newspaper "Arbeiterzeitung" (head of the 
economics department and deputy editor-in-chief), afterwards 
department head and editor-in-chief of the business magazine 
"Wirtschaftswoche" until 1997. Since 1997 publisher (with 
Helmut A. Gansterer) and editor-in-chief of the business magazine 
"Trend" and since 1998 also publisher and editor-in-chief of 
the weekly magazine "profil".
