Ramsau, name referring to a number of places in Austria: 1) Styria, 
plateau 18 km long, 3 km wide, 1,000-1,200 m above sea 
level, situated above the upper Ennstal Valley, drained by the 
Ramsaubach stream, in the municipality of  Ramsau am Dachstein; 
starting point for tours to the Dachstein Massif. Summer and winter 
sports centre. 2) Ramsau Valley drained by Ramsaubach stream southwest 
of Eisenerz (Styria) with common alpine pasture, cross-country skiing 
track, ski jumping hill. 3) Valley drained by Ramsaubach stream and 
small rural settlement  of Ramsau west of Greith (Styria, in the 
municipality of Gusswerk). 4) area of country south of Strengberg 
(Lower Austria, market town Oehd-Oehling). 5) Valley drained by 
Ramsaubach stream in the Gutenstein Alps southwest of Vienna.
