Ratten, Styria, municipality in the district of Weiz, alt. 765 m, 
pop. 1,320, area 28.64 km%%sup 2/%, situated in the upper part of 
Feistritztal Valley, in the "Joglland" region. Recreation 
centre; wood processing, boiler production, building and construction 
enterprises, tourism (27,471 overnight stays in 1992). - Parish church 
(1708-1715, built by R. Horner) with magnificent decoration in Baroque 
style, Rosary chapel (1664) with Renaissance altarpiece.
