Ravelsbach, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Horn, alt. 
265 m, pop. 1,731, area 26.38 km%%sup 2/%, at the foot of 
Manhartsberg hill, situated in the western part of the Weinviertel 
region. - District branch of the Chamber of Agricultural and Allied 
Workers, road maintenance agency; building and construction 
enterprises, wine growing. Parish church (1721-1726 by J. Prandtauer) 
with altarpiece paintings by M. Moelk and J. Grebmer; rectory (around 
1660-1667). International summer seminars on fine arts.
