Rechenberg, Peter, b. Berlin (Germany), July 18, 1933, 
information scientist specialising in software research. Initially 
head of the laboratory at the AEG research institute in Berlin; 
1970-1975 professor at Berlin University; 1975-1999 in Linz; 1992-1998 
deputy head of the C.-Doppler laboratory for software engineering 
methods and tools.
