Rehor, Grete, b. Vienna, June 30, 1910, 
d. Vienna, Jan. 28, 1987, employee and politician (Austrian 
People´s Party, OeVP). From 1927 active in the textile 
workers´ union, 1949-1970 member of the Nationalrat, 1966-1970 
Minister for Social Administration; first Austrian woman minister. 
Initiated the laws aimed at expanding the job market and regulating 
the employment of caretakers.
