Reich, Wilhelm, b. Dobrzcynica (Poland), March 24, 1897, 
d. Lewisburg (USA), Nov. 3, 1957, psychoanalyst, therapist, studied 
under S.  Freud. Advocated removing taboos from sexuality and 
developed psychological body therapies. Tried to combine the theories 
of S. Freud and K. Marx and extended Freud´s libido theory into 
a comprehensive theory of cosmic life energy which he called orgone 
theory. In 1933 emigrated to the USA, where his views brought him into 
conflict with the authorities. Died in prison.
