Reichlich, Marx, b. near Brixen/Bressanone (South Tyrol; ?), around 1460, 
d. 1520, painter of the late Gothic and Renaissance periods, worked in 
the Tyrol and around 1494-1508 in Salzburg, probably studied under F.  
Pacher, assisted M.  Pacher in his work on the altar of the Franciscan 
Church in Salzburg; strongly influenced by M. Pacher, but developed 
his own style in the use of colour, later also adopted Venetian and 
Lombardic elements, worked chiefly for Tyrolean clients, 1508 restored 
the frescoes at Schloss Runkelstein (South Tyrol) by order of 
Maximilian I; started the high altar in Heiligenblut, which was 
finished by W. Maller.

Ferdinandeum); St. Peter's altar in Salzburg (around 1500, parts 
of it now in the Oesterreichische Galerie Belvedere and parts in 
private ownership); 2 predella wings with scenes from the worship of 
the shepherds, the worship of the Wise Men, the Visitation and St. 
Anne with Mary and the child Jesus (after 1500, Stift Wilten); votive 
altar of Florian Waldauf (around 1501-1505, Stadtmuseum Hall in 
Tirol); altar of St. Jacob and St. Stephen (1506, Alte Pinakothek in 
Munich and Neustift monastery near Brixen); fragments of a Madonna 
altar from Neustift monastery near Brixen (1511, Alte Pinakothek in 
Munich).
