d. Vienna, April 15, 1936, actor, father of Emmerich  Reimers. 
Member of the Vienna Burgtheater company (roles included Egmont, Karl 
Moor, King Lear, King Ottokar; outstanding as grand seigneur); 1925 
senior director. Numerous awards: 1890 Hofschauspieler, 1901 life 
member of the ensemble, 1922 honorary member.
