Reisch, Richard, b. Vienna, April 17, 1866, d. Vienna, Dec. 
14, 1938, civil servant and politician (Austrian Christian Socialist 
Party). Studied law in Vienna and Innsbruck, worked in the Ministry of 
Finance from 1891, 1910 head of section, then worked in the management 
of the Allgemeine Bodencreditanstalt bank, 1921 Vice President; 
1919/20 Staatssekretaer at the public office for finance; 1922-1932 
president of the Austrian  National Bank. At the same time taught at 
Vienna University, from 1914 professor of finance law. Numerous 
publications.
