Reiter Alm Mountain (also: Reiter Alpe), province of Salzburg, 
limestone massif in the northwestern part of the Salzburg Limestone 
Alps (Berchtesgaden Alps) between the River Saalach and the 
Berchtesgadener Land region (Grosses Haeuselhorn mountain, 
2,284 m), part of the Austro-German border; karstic forms and 
subterranean watercourse; main village in the valley: Lofer.
