Riedau, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Schaerding; alt. 
376 m, pop. 1,897, area 7,62 km%%sup 2/%; on River Pram in 
the Innviertel Region. Tools shop.- Parish church, redecorated in 
Gothic style in the late 16%%sup th/%  century, enlarged around 1635; 
western tower (1611); neo-Gothic interior; statue of the Virgin Mary 
(around 1720) in the main square; prevailing types of farmhouses are 
the Innviertler Vierseithof and the Hausrucker Vierseithof.
