Riegger, Josef Anton, b. Innsbruck (Tyrol), Feb. 13, 1742, 
d. Prague (Czech Republic), Aug. 5, 1795, specialist in public and 
international law, son of Paul Josef  Riegger. Teacher at the Vienna 
Theresianum (diplomatic academy), in Freiburg im Breisgau and 
Prague. Concentrated on the study of Tyrolean history and practised 
statistical geography.
