!!!Road pricing

Road pricing, system whereby fees are levied for road usage. In 
contrast to the Toll system, road users have to pay for the use of 
infrastructural resources. The introduction of a general road pricing 
system for trucks on most Austrian autobahns and Schnellstrasse roads 
is scheduled for the year 2000. At present, electronic toll systems 
that do not require speed reduction are being tested.
