Roland, Ida (real name: Ida Klausner), b. Vienna, Feb. 18, 1881, 
d. Nyon (Switzerland), March 27, 1951, actress. Wife (from 1915) and 
colleague of the president of the Pan-European Union Count R.  
Coudenhove-Kalergi. After engagements at the Stadttheater Innsbruck 
and at various German theatres became an internationally renowned 
stage actress 1912-1923. 1924-1927 at the Burgtheater, 1927-1929 guest 
performances at the Theater in der Josefstadt, 1935 and 1937 returned 
to the Burgtheater (character parts in classic and modern plays); 1937 
retired from the stage, supported the Pan-European movement; 1938 
emigration, 1940-1945 New York, then Switzerland.
