Rosanne, River, Tyrol, headstream of the  Sanna, River; rises in the 
Verwall Mountains near the Muttenjoch peak (2620 m) and flows 
eastward south of the Arlberg Pass. Near Burgfried (1032 m) the 
Rosanne river is joined by the Trisanna river. Between St. Anton am 
Arlberg (1284 m) and Stanz bei Landeck the valley is called  
Stanz Valley; other villages are Pettneu am Arlberg (1222 m) and 
Flirsch (1154 m).
