Rosenau, Lower Austria, village in the district of Zwettl, alt. 
628 m, palace, village and cadastral district of Zwettl, in the 
western part of the Waldviertel Region. Palace and estate management 
buildings built in Renaissance style in 1593, altered in Baroque 
style, church added between 1736 and 1747. Since 1975 former lodges of 
the palace have housed the Austrian Museum of Freemasonry 
(Freimaurermuseum).
