Rosenbach, Carinthia, village in the district of Villach Land, alt. 
583 m, railway station at the Austro-Slovenian border, in the 
municipality of St. Jakob im Rosental at the beginning of the 
Karawanken tunnel (7,684 m). - Border control station of the 
federal police, customs office, department of customs officers, toll 
agency of the Karawankenautobahn-Tauernautobahn AG, motorcar transport 
by rail to Jesenice (Slovenia); Baerental power station, Rosenbach 
power station of the Austrian Federal Railways OeBB (erected in 1902, 
with average performance 350 kWh).
