Rosenmayr, Leopold, b. Vienna, Feb. 3, 1925, sociologist. 
1963-1995 professor of sociology and social philosophy at the 
University of Vienna, director of the L. Boltzmann Institute for 
Social Gerontology and Life History Research in Vienna. particularly 
concerned with the generation conflict, the process of ageing and the 
change of values in society.
