!!!Rußbach

Russbach river, Lower Austria, north-west tributary of the Danube,
River; the Russbach has a median discharge volume of 0.2
m%%sup 3/%/sec. at Ulrichskirchen (upper reaches). Rising north of
Kleinebersdorf (268 m) in the Weinviertel region, the Russbach
flows across the narrow Kreuttal valley, continuing in a
south-easterly direction to Wolkersdorf (178 m) and through the
Marchfeld plain. The Marchfeld Canal joins the Russbach near
Deutsch-Wagram (159 m), which then flows east of Engelhartstetten
(143 m), joining the Danube. Within the context of the total
water supply system for the Marchfeld plain, the Russbach, containing
little water, is to be expanded and connected with Stempfelbach
stream, which lies north-east of the Russbach, by means of the
Obersiebenbrunn canal.
