Rudofsky, Bernard, b. Vienna, April 13, 1905, d. New York 
(USA), March 12, 1988, architect, architecture expert. 1922-1928 
studied at the Technische Hochschule in Vienna (now Vienna University 
of Technology). 1937-1938 partner of Giovanni Ponti in Milan, 
1938-1941 freelance architect in S&atildeo Paulo, from 1941 in New 
York. For many years freelance exhibition director and consultant for 
the Museum of Modern Art, as well as editor of architecture magazines; 
1957-1958 designer of the US government´s exhibition at the 
World Fair in Brussels; 1958-1960 research professor at Waseda 
University, Tokyo; 1961-1963 member of the Advisory Screening 
Committee on Art and Architecture; visiting professor at various 
European universities.
