Rudolf, Karl, b. Vienna, Nov. 22, 1886, 
d. Vienna, Aug. 22, 1964, canon, founder and head of the Austrian 
Institute for Pastoral Care, editor of the publication "Der 
Seelsorger", key figure in the reorganisation of the  Catholic Action 
of Austria. From 1949 led the International Festival of Religious Film 
and various summer courses.
