Monument to the Russian (Soviet) liberators (Russendenkmal): the 
monument erected at Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna on August 19, 1945 by 
the Soviet occupation according to a design by Sergej Yakovlev and 
Alexandr Sheinfeld in honour of the soldiers of the Red Army who fell 
fighting for Vienna.
