Russwurm, Vera, b. Vienna, Nov. 7, 1959, journalist and 
moderator. Studied medicine; began her television career in 1978 as 
"Tritsch-Tratsch girl", then moderator and editor of the ORF 
television programme for young people "Okay"; from 1984 
department head at the newspaper "Kronen Zeitung" (young 
people´s page "Insider"); since 1995 moderator of the 
talk show "Vera" on ORF television. Has won several 
"Romy" awards for the most popular showmaster as well as the 
New York TV Award in the category "Best Talk Show" in 1999.
