7, 1998, singer (soprano), Kammersaengerin*, sister of Lotte  Rysanek; 
1955-1991 at the Vienna State Opera, 1959-1973 at the Metropolitan 
Opera in New York; international guest performances and concert tours. 
From 1997-1998 president of the Vienna Festival.
