Soeding, Styria, municipality in the district of Voitsberg, alt. 
341 m, population 1,838, area 9.11 km%%sup 2/%, including 
the cadastral districts of Kleinsoeding and Grosssoeding, near the 
confluence of the Soedingbach and Kainach streams, southwest of Graz. 
- Home run by the Lebenshilfe charity organisation; building industry 
dominant (construction, deep-drilling, construction equipment 
production and trade), production of screening machines and industrial 
equipment. - Late Gothic filial church of St. Sebastian (redecorated 
in Baroque style around 1679) with stone altar (early 17%%sup th/%  
century) and side altars which were part of a late Gothic carved 
altarpiece (around 1510-1520), Gross Soeding Castle (around 1563) with 
chapel (stucco, frescoes).
