Confectionery Industry: In Austria 30 companies with 3,500 employees 
produced an annual amount of approx. 166,200 t of chocolate, 
sugar and flour confectionery valued at ATS 7,600 million in 
1998. Some products (e.g. Mozartkugeln, wafers) are popular throughout 
the world.
