Sacher, Anna, b. Vienna, Jan. 2, 1859, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 25, 1930, owner of the Hotel Sacher in Vienna, where 
the Austrian aristocracy and diplomatic circles used to come together 
and which was praised for its first-class cuisine (Sachertorte). Her 
habit of smoking cigars made her an outstanding figure in Viennese 
society.
