Salesians, male order: 1) Society of the Salesians of Don Bosco, 
religious congregation (founded in 1859) for pastoral and social care 
for young people, education, teaching and missionary work. The 
Austrian Province, which was founded in 1919, has branches in Vienna, 
Amstetten, Unterwaltersdorf, Waidhofen an der Ybbs (all of them 
located in Lower Austria), Linz and Timelkam (in Upper Austria), Graz 
and Johnsdorf (Styria), Klagenfurt (Carinthia) and Fulpmes (Tirol). 2) 
Congregation of the Society of St. Francis de Sales (in German 
"Oblaten des heiligen Franz von Sales")  missionary orders.
