Sandler, Gerhard, b. Poechlarn (Lower Austria), Aug. 24, 
1950, manager. Studied telecommunications in Vienna. 1979-1983 
employed by the Donauland book club, 1983-1990 managing director of 
the Buecherbund book club, and from 1990 managing director of the 
electrical appliance retail group Mediamarkt/Koeck; since 1998 
managing director of the newly established Media-Saturn holding 
company.
