!!!Saurerwerke

Saurerwerke, an automobile factory founded in Vienna in 1906 for the 
production of trucks and buses; after 1914 it was called 
"Oesterreichische Saurerwerke". In 1959 the majority of the 
shares were purchased by  Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, and in 1969 the two 
officially merged. At the time of the merger the plant employed 1,500 
persons.
