d. Vienna, April 23, 1976, figure skater. 1929-1936 European champion 
eight times in a row, 1930-1936 seven times world champion, gold medal 
winner at the 1932 Olympic Games in Lake Placid and the 1936 Olympic 
Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. 1926-1936 seven times Austrian 
swimming champion in breaststroke. After the end of his career became 
a show skater, then a coach.
