!!!Schöffen

Schoeffen: In their function as lay  Judges Schoeffen, together with 
professional judges, pass judgement on certain crimes. As opposed to a 
 Juror, a Schoeffe judges whether the accused is guilty or not and 
passes the appropriate sentence together with professional judges.
