!!!Schönherr, Dietmar

b. Innsbruck (Tyrol), May 17, 1926, actor, director, show host and 
quizmaster. Studied acting in Berlin and Innsbruck, film debut in1943 
(acted in about 80 films), radio announcer 1947-1952, reporter and 
director at the ORF (Austrian broadcasting corporation), then radio 
dramaturge and presenter at the Western German broadcasting 
corporation (Westdeutscher Rundfunk, WDR). From 1960 worked in 
television, highly popular as a quizmaster (1970-1972 "Wuensch Dir 
was", together with his wife Vivi Bach). Dubbing voice (German voice 
of James Dean and Gerard Philippe); actively involved in promoting 
peace and the developing countries.
