Schoenkirchen-Reyersdorf, Lower Austria, market town in the district 
of Gaenserndorf, alt. 161 m, pop. 1,725 (1981: pop. 1,343), 
area 17.75 km%%sup 2/%, located on the Weidenbach stream, among 
the oil fields at the northern edge of the Marchfeld plain. - 
Petroleum extraction (300 bores in the municipality), gas storage 
centre and flooding facility of the OMV AG; manufacture of steel tube 
furniture. - Parish church (medieval core, Baroque building 1695-1698) 
with high altar painting (1835) by L. Kupelwieser; Baroque castle 
(1695, alterations and Classicist façade added 1882); 
late-Gothic wayside shrine; Gothic Church of St. Leonhard (first 
documented mention 1356) with Gothic interior in Reyersdorf.
