d. Silz (Tyrol), June 9, 1895. Narrative writer and dramatist, 
priest in Inzing near Zirl; 1856-1863 editor of the 
"Spiegelkalender". Author of patriotic stories, fought for the 
preservation of Tyrolean customs and traditions.

heilige Elisabeth, 1856; Gudrun, 1858. - Autobiographical work: 
Freuden und Leiden eines Landgeistlichen, 2 vols., 1859/60.
