Schoepfl Mountain, Lower Austria, 893 m, highest elevation in the 
south-western Vienna Woods. Elongated forested sandstone ridge, 
watershed between the Tulln Basin and the Vienna Basin (rivers 
Schwechat and Triesting); Schoepfl mountain refuge, Matraswarte 
observation point, L. Figl observatory (1969). Villages in the valley: 
St. Corona am Schoepfl, Kaumberg, Klausen-Leopoldsdorf, Altlengbach.
