Schuetz, Carl, b. Laibach (now Ljubljana, Slovenia), Nov. 2, 1745, 
d. Vienna, March 14, 1800, graphic artist. Earned his reputation by 
his Views of the City of Vienna ("Collection de 50 vues de la 
ville de Vienne", 1779 et seq.), which he published jointly with 
Johann Andreas  Ziegler and Laurenz  Janscha in the   Artaria 
publishing house; also produced portraits, allegories, fashion plates 
and battle scenes in copperplate technique.
