!!!Schattendorfer Prozess

Schattendorf trial, jury trial held before a Vienna court on July 
5-14, 1927. Three members of the Frontkaempfervereinigung 
(veterans´ association) were on trial as the result of a clash 
between the Frontkaempfervereinigung and Schutzbund paramilitary 
organisation on January 30, 1927 in Schattendorf (Burgenland), where 
gunshots fatally wounded a man and a child. The court found the 
defendants not guilty, triggering the  July Revolt.
