!!!Schell, Maximilian

b. Vienna, Dec. 8, 1930, actor, director, author, producer. Brother of 
Maria  Schell. Has worked as a dramatic advisor, actor and director in 
Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain and in the USA; first 
film part in "Kinder, Muetter und ein General" (1955), Academy Award 
for "Judgement at Nuremberg" (1961). 1970 directed his first film, 
"Erste Liebe", based on the novella by I. S. Turgenjew; 1978-1982 
played  Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival. Important roles in 
international film productions ("Little Odessa", 1994; "Vampires", 
1998); television series.
