Schenz, Richard, b. Vienna, Jan. 25, 1940, physicist, since 1992 
chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of 
OeMV, now  OMV. Studied technical physics at the University of 
Technology in Vienna; since 1969 with the OeMV, 1979 head of 
department, 1985 chief executive, 1987 leader of two projects, from 
1988 member of the board of directors.
