!!!Schesaplana

Schesaplana mountain, Vorarlberg, alt. 2,965 m, the highest 
mountain in the Raetikon mountain range, consists of folded Triassic 
limestone. The Brandner glacier is located on the north slope, and 
Lake Luenersee, one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the Alps, 
is located at the foot of the mountain. The Luenersee cableway runs 
from Brand bei Bludenz to the lake. The Swiss-Austrian border divides 
the summit and the crest of the Schesaplana mountain. D. Pappus was 
the first to climb the mountain in 1610.
