b. Agsdorf (municipality of Feldkirchen in Carinthia), June 19, 1948. 
Racing skier, early career in women's events as Erika S., 1965 
European champion in the junior women's championship, 1966/1967 
victories in worldcup races, 1966 world downhill champion in Portillo 
(Chile). Withdrew from women's racing in 1967; 1969-1972 several 
victories (5 times in the European championship) in international 
men's races.
