b. Scheibbs (Lower Austria), Aug. 9, 1926, actress, 
Kammerschauspielerin. Wife of director R.  Steinboeck. Studied at the 
Reinhardt Seminar drama school, in 1945 engagement at the Theater in 
der Josefstadt in Vienna, then at various German theatres; 1956-1989 
member of the Burgtheater company (first girls' roles, then character 
parts). Film roles.
