b. Vienna, April 19, 1878, 
d. Vienna, April 24, 1942. Poet. After Military Grammar School and 
Technical Military Academy career as officer, after World War I in the 
Ministry of the Army until 1926. His poems, which are strongly 
influenced by humanist ethics and in which he radically distances 
himself from war, were published in numerous magazines between the two 
World Wars.
